This is a page dedicated to our retired Goldens. To us, retired means that they are no longer producing offspring. When we feel our dogs are ready to retire, they are spayed or neutered and then become full time pets. We keep our breeding dog numbers low, so that we can still provide for them, their puppies, and our retired Goldens.

Daffie is a sweetie and very animated. She loves to climb on things and to explore. She sleeps on top of the the dog houses, goes down the slide, and will jump into a wheel barrow or wagon just because she feels the need to. She's the best at retrieving, other than Daytona, and is a quick learner. In my opinion, she has the ideal Golden temperament. She stays at my side nearly the entire time I'm outside with her, very loyal and just waiting to please me. She has a shorter, wavy coat with long, thick feathering on her hind legs and tail. She heels great on a leash! Daffie is dual registered with the AKC and CKC. She has many Champions in her pedigree.

Genuine Raven the Rambunctious
Okay, so this obviously isn't a Golden Retriever...This is Raven, our black sheep of the family. Raven is a Doberman Pinscher, a gift for my husband. Afterall, we needed at least one dog that what actually alert us of strangers, instead of greeting them with a wagging tail like our Goldens! Raven is definitely nothing like a Golden, full of spunk and energy. She also has a super shiney coat that we are constantly receiving comments on! Raven doesn't like to be woken from a good sleep. She prefers to collect loose items of clothing around the house, put them in a pile and sleep in them. Even if that means opening cabinets and drawers to get to them (yes, she can do this!).
